Fast-forward to today, and craft beer fans that spent their 20s and 30s drinking hazy IPAs in downtown taprooms, driving the industrys explosive growth, are older and grayer. Since Bonesaw Brewing opened in 2018 in Glassboro, New Jersey, a southern suburb of Philadelphia, the brewery has twice expanded its parking lot.

In a year when some breweries closed and others bought golf courses , when hazy IPAs matured and New Jersey‘s governor did exactly the opposite, a cornucopia of new beers came out (and promptly got checked in). Decoction mashing and most importantly the use of the floatation tank help to create a clean and refreshingly unique IPA.

1 PorchDrinking took a closer look at the recent barrel-aged stout in a box from Saint Errant. Their White Peach Wood IPA is the second to come from the 250-year-old tree, the first came from Solemn Oath back in 2018. That’s some old wood.
