Though beer, hard seltzer, and cocktails traditionally rule the canned drinks space, there’s a rising number of exceptional wines hitting shelves in this format. Similar to boxed wines , canned wines haven’t always had the best reputation.

These casks had previously held sherry and wine. Included in the blend is a 2017 Pilsner aged in French oak, a 2015 Pilsner aged in American oak (char 3), a 2013 Stout aged in French oak, and a rye whiskey. and at select Kentucky stores. This third batch of Winter Run is a blend of rye and hop-flavored whiskeys.

The same care and thought that bars and restaurants place on their food, beer, cocktail, and wine selections is also going into their non-alc offerings. I’ve known my wife, Jess, since I moved to New York City in 2007.
