If the recent release trends continue, this year’s Barrel Strength Rye will be the last until 2027 with a Toasted Rye expression on deck instead for 2026. Michter’s, like lots of other Kentucky distilleries, could be so awash in whiskey now that they deliver both limited edition, rye options in the coming year.

Additional benefits include access to rare bottlings, yearly cask tastings, special events, local products from Orkney, and an annual two-night stay on the island with dinner at the distillery. The 100-litre casks allocated to members are expected to yield over 120 70cl bottles at cask strength. The whisky is set to mature in 2030.
