La Maison & Velier — also known as La Maison du Whisky — recently launched a new series of rums called the Transcontinental Rum Line (aka TCRL). We received a collection of small samples of six rums from the TCRL. All are 700ml bottles. 212 bottles produced. 230 bottles produced. 110 proof.

Made using a mash bill recipe of 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley, this whisky was distilled in spring 2011. Bottled at 57.1%

The first number represents the distillery, assigned in the order the Society first bottled a cask from that distillery. means its the sixth cask bottled from distillery number 27, which corresponds to Springbank. What Do the SMWS Codes Mean? For example, a code of 27.6
