Drinkhacker first checked in with 2bar’s bourbon in 2014 with a bottling aged for 9 months in 15-gallon barrels. Given the state of craft bourbon in 2014, 2bar’s youthful whiskey graded comparatively well. 128 proof.

The spirit was distilled in 2012 and aged for five and a half years in ex-bourbon barrels. The new release of Arran Barrel Bonfire consists of just 14,822 bottles, bottled at 50% ABV. Arran single malt has previously been bottled at 14 and 20PPM, with this expression constituting the highest peat level in an Arran expression.
