New scotch whisky releases this week include a Pedro Ximénez matured single malt from Eden Mill, a stout cask finish from Lochlea, and an extremely rare 33 Year Old from Rosebank. These casks were then loaned to Overtone to age their double mash stout before being returned to Lochlea, seasoned with rich stout flavors.

Reservoir Distillery Holland’s Ghost – Finished in an Ardent stout barrel for two and a half years. Milk stout isn’t the easiest finish to pull off, but this is a more than admirable effort.
