It was aged in American & French oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months and then finished in orange tequila liqueur casks. The barrels used for this bottled in bond decanter series release were distilled in September 1999 and emptied in March 2013 making the age of the bourbon 13 years-old. The bourbon was bottled in February 2024.
