Big Peat Thropaigeach is a 48% ABV Islay blended malt which has been finished in ex-Rum casks to impart a tropical influence. The spirit was then divided into Pedro Ximénez sherry casks (9 years) and Jamaican rum casks (10 years). 34) and a Tomintoul 55 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Release No.36). The resulting single malt is lively with a hint of smoke.
